You might have some questions…
Are you more qualitative or quantitative?
I am experienced in both “sides” of research - I can design and moderate focus groups as comfortably as I can write and program a questionnaire or off-platform study. I enjoy finding opportunities to utilize both lenses and offer a mixed methods approach, if it fits the objective.
What are some other types of companies or brands you’ve worked with?
Most of my experience is with startups from seed- to mid-stage, with emphasis on digital product-driven organizations. I also have experience working with media and ad agencies, helping to craft client-facing go-to-market positioning, in-depth category reporting, and brand measurement.
What is your typical process like?
Once we’ve determined an action plan that fits your needs, we’ll kick off the process with some (not at all cheesy) icebreakers, and then I’ll work closely with stakeholders to get under the hood on the need-to-knows to inform rigorous research design. From there, stakeholders will be plugged into the design every step of the way, and might even be asked to test the research instrument before it goes live to ensure alignment from the get-go. We’ll have regular check-ins on progress, and an analysis debrief before we finalize the full findings. The goal of this process is to ensure nothing that I share ever comes as a (unwanted) surprise.
What are your rates?
I design bespoke research solutions based on clients' needs, so let's talk about what you're looking to tackle and I can come back to you with real numbers. Typically I will provide basic, comprehensive, and stretch tier packages so that you have a full suite of options to choose from based on your comfort and investment level.
What types of teams do you typically work with?
Internally, my offerings typically gear toward marketing and product teams, but have included business development, sales, and analytics teams in my process and core groups as well. Externally, I prioritize efficiency and scalability in my recommendations for research suppliers or vendors based on your unique research needs.
